ENJOY THE PYRENEES, DARE YOU!

IBÓN DE PIEDRAFITA

 

Once again, we have gone on an excursion to the mountain. Last Saturday, we went to Piedrafita Lake. It´s great to say that every time there is a mountain activity at school, more and more people decide to join us, especially young people. The day was amazing as it seemed to be a summer day. We left Jaca at 9 in the morning and we started  to walk  at 10 o´clock from the Cuniacha Park in Piedrafita. After being hiking for about one hour and a half, we arrived at the lake. As you can see in the pictures it is a beautiful place surrounded by mountains. Our small kids behaved like real heroes. We enjoyed a good lunch, we played with the frogs (there were lots of them), we took thousands of pictures and we came back home. Some of us decided to stay and spend the whole day there.

We enjoyed an amazing day and the landscape is brilliant these days (the lake, Peña Blanca Peak, Peña Telera Peak, The Betato forest…), and of course, the best company…students, parents and teachers  who participated in the activity.

We are already preparing the following one which will probably be to the Aguastuertas Dolmen. We will keep into touch! See you later!
