ENJOY THE PYRENEES, DARE YOU!

Rackets and igloo in Somport. On Sunday February 23rd students, teachers and parents after some bad weather days, went to the mountain to do snowshoe trekking and learnt how to build a snow shelter. It is worth waiting for this day considering that it was one of the best ones this winter. We left Jaca at 10 AM and started walking about 11 from Candanchu Resort. Little bit later we separated into two groups to carry out the two activities in planning. One group stayed with parents making different snow shelters and the other one continued a circle walking with their rackets. We met again in the same place to enjoy of a sharing lunch. We played in the snow, went sledding and were able to prove that shelters were very comfortable. We enjoyed a lot on that day, memorable one for us. Amazing views such as (Gargantas de Aísa, aspe summit, the beech forest…), the extraordinary company of students, parents and teachers. We would like to thank the parents for teaching us how to make snow shelters and for living an awesome experience for all of us.
